Here’s a quick tip to eliminate a step for pointing your domains to landing pages.
Winning expired domains is only the first step. Then, you need to point the domains to sales landers and list them for sale on marketplaces.
Fortunately, the drop-catching service DropCatch.com makes the sales lander part easy if you change one setting.
All domains you win at DropCatch.com go to NameBright, and you can use NameBright’s category settings to automatically point the domains to the service you’d like. I recently adjusted this to take advantage of Afternic’s owner new verification, too.
Here’s how it works.
Log into your NameBright account
Go to “My Account” and click on “Categories”
Find your DropCatch account category and click on “Settings”
Edit the Nameservers to point to your parking service of choice
This image shows the settings option:
In my case, I’m defaulting domains to ns1/ns2.afternic.com, and then adding a third nameserver for Afternic ownership verification.
Now, when I win domains at DropCatch.com, I no longer have to visit NameBright to set up my domains. They point to Afternic by default, and I can add them to Afternic without the added step.
