A walking cane company, a musician, and a coffee business bought domain names.

Fashionable Canes bought WalkingCane.com and forwards the domain name to its website.

Every company needs a domain name. Researching Sedo’s domain sales each week introduces me to many industries I’ve never considered. For example, do you know those tags on your clothing that explain how to wash them (or, in some cases, confuse you about how to wash them)? A company that helps clothing manufacturers design those labels is one of the end users this week.

Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that recently transacted at Sedo. You can view previous lists like this here.

WalkingCane.com $31,250 – Ah, the old “exact match product name” domain. You don’t see these sales much anymore. Fashionable Canes bought this domain and forwards it to its website, where it sells some pretty dope canes.

10er.com $10,000 – 10er, which is a bit like Patreon, supports recurring payments to creators. The company doesn’t appear to own tener.com, which will be a problem.

Jawn.com $9,888 – A new website at this domain is just a GIF of a couple of Philadelphia Eagles players dancing. Jawn is apparently popular slang in Philly.
