It was widely-known that the AI.com domain name was sold last spring to an unknown buyer for an undisclosed price. Most experts assumed it would have taken an all-time record price to get the name and we now know that was indeed the case. The buyer – the owners of Crypto.com – paid an eye-popping $70 million to acquire the domain.
