It’s a 1GB USB severed finger. And if that wasn’t enough to satisfy your morbid side, then you’d better pick up the severed wrist or severed foot for your wrist to rest when using your mouse. It’s enough to make any visitor to your workstation to wonder what you are really up to.

On a totally unrelated topic, Futronic has announced that they have developed a fingerprint scanner that can tell the difference between live fingers, and dead or fake fingers. The unit can tell when a finger is made out of silicon or has been detatched from the body, and that even live fingers have to be fairly precise for the unit to perform.
